Katie's journey in the jewelry business began while studying goldsmithing under Cecilia Bauer. Motivated by her newfound knowledge, Katie began experimenting with her own design. What began as custom engagement rings and a few special pieces designed for her friends and family quickly grew into an entire collection.

Every piece is a reflection of her personal style, a blend of bohemian and luxe. Some of Katie's original and best-selling designs have a worldly feel reminiscent of Morocco, inspired by travel, architecture and textiles.

She has since evolved the collection to showcase her edgy sense of style in a still dainty collection. Katie's fashion line uses 18k gold vermeil, sterling silver and natural, untreated, semi-precious stones in a wide variety of colors.

She also works with 14k gold, diamonds and rubies in her fine & bridal collection. Katie diamond jewelry's design aesthetic is globally infused from antique textiles, moorish architecture, ancient Egypt and even punk rock. It has landed itself placement in over 100 prestigious locations in the United States & around the world including Barneys New York, ABC Home, Blue Ruby, Steven Alan, Catbird & Free People.

In May of 2015, Katie opened her first shop in one of the oldest standing buildings in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Built in 1790, her new retail space includes charming architecture and luminous natural light. The space doubles as a studio & storefront, welcoming shoppers from the surrounding area to browse the lifestyle store. 'Katie Diamond' located at 570 N Maple Road focuses on elevated gift, jewelry & apothecary items at accessible price points. The aesthetic of the store brings a much desired Brooklyn edge to Bergen County.
